I went to Disney World with Jodi and the kids this past week. It was awesome! I took Connor and Keri on their first "real" roller coaster ride and
Connor even came on the Tower of Terror with me! (He's 5 years old).

And ahh...I guess I figured out that I have two profiles I can switch to...weird. Sorry about posting as the old one.

LOL... doesn't matter. We know it's you, either way.
Does this mean I can add you to my Friends List twice?
BTW, your older one has WAAAY more posts on it (and I bet a lot of people have tried to get that name!). Be sure and resize that avatar, though. It's a really nice pic, but it needs to be set at 100 pixels. Looks like you have a whole new profile to work on; there's a bunch of nice skins that can be customised. Yeah, go ahead and post those pics in the Boathouse. Sounds like you had a good time!

How does a 5yr old get on a roller coaster?

Well, the boys couldn't (obviously) go on some of the rides, but there was one roller coaster that was more of a "real" coaster than just a baby
coaster they usually go on and they JUST made it in height wise.... Connor sat with me and personally I don't think their height requirement is high
enough. If I hadn't had a damn good hold of him he would have been gone. (And Connor was his own little fearless self, hands up and I'm like bracing
myself for the next turn or dip making sure I had a good grip on 'em...lol).
As for the Tower of Terror, that was way safer IMO. They met the height requirement and the belts were super tight on them. I didn't have to worry at all they would slip out. I told Connor before he went on that if I checked the belt and didn't think it was safe that we wouldn't go, regardless of what the ride operator said. It was really cool. :) Pics are up in the Boathouse. |

So, are ALL rides included, or do you have to pay extra for the "special" ones? Were the lines long?
Thanks for putting the pics up!

Every ride (and every little show) we saw/rode on was 'free' with the main ticket. (And we went on the "speical" ones you hear about all the
time). Plus, all the night shows (Like Fantasmic-which was awesome) were all free with the main ticket.
The only thing I paid extra for was the food if we got any there. I think you have to pay 10 bucks extra to add on the water parks. P.S. On Friday night they had some dumb thing going on where you had to pay an extra 40 bucks per person to get into the park at night (Princess and Pirate night), but it was something really special and it was late enough it was fine, we just left. |
